Born in Wisconsin in 1966, Snyder became involved in art and filmmaking in his teens.
Beginning his directing career in television commercials, he made his feature debut with 2004’s Dawn of the Dead.
Snyder’s biggest success to date is 2007’s ‘300’, for which he is currently developing a sequel. Zach’s trademark visuals make him a natural helmer of dynamic action.
