Commentator Recap: Green hills – UNKNOWN Boy oh boy was this one incredible feat to watch. While many proclaim that those heroes based out of the DC World are merely Gods struggling to fit in with humans and those from Marvel’s world are humans struggling with power of the Gods… this time it didn’t matter. 11:00 A.M. – Under a bright blue, slightly cloudy sky, the two Goddesses met on the field. Words were not exchanged, just cat-like glares at one another. Soon enough, the sky turned dark gray and the winds picked up. Storm lifted herself in the air, hovering from a wind pocket. Wonder Woman, on the other hand, started to lose her footing towards a forming tornado. As quickly as she could, Wonder Woman threw her lasso around a nearby oak tree, holding on for dear life. 11:06 A.M. – Storm, frustrated with Wonder Woman’s lasso refusing to break against her gale force winds, decided to take the game to a whole other level. The tornado began to move towards the tree, threatening to pull Wonder Woman off of her grip on the lasso. Utilizing all of her strength, Wonder Woman pulled herself in the opposing direction with enough force that she was able to fly low to the ground and away from the path of the tornado. 11:17 A.M. – The tornado had now picked up immense speed and force. So strong that it was able to rip the deep rooted oak tree from the ground. Under Storm’s control, the tornado re-directed it’s path once again in Wonder Woman’s direction – this time with a giant oak tree whirring around inside it – a sure K.O. if it hit. 11:25 A.M. – Wonder Woman stood facing the tornado, unafraid of it’s potential. The Amazonian raised both of her arms and slammed them together – causing the golden bracelets to collide. A shockwave from the impact blows forward, eliminating the tornado and obliterating the oak into billions of wood chips – all sent in Storm’s direction. 11:37 A.M – After avoiding the wood chips and loose branches, the fight took to the air as both women began flying at each other. Wonder Woman consistently swung with her fists and tried to land a hand to body blow on Storm. Incredibly weaker than the Amazonian Princess, Storm stuck to using sudden wind gusts to avoid the hits. Whether it be Wonder Woman or herself, not a single hit landed. 11:44 A.M. – After nearly exhausting her energy in trying to hit Storm, Wonder Woman was able to retain her lasso from the ground and tie up Storm as the fight returned to the ground. Storm lay on the ground, unable to move and Wonder Woman stood a distance away, marveling as she awaited the 3 minute time limit to commence. 11:46 A.M – After faking a forfeit, Storm had stopped struggling. The weather was calm for 2 minutes solid. And then without warning, title wave came crashing over the area, catching Wonder Woman off guard. Storm, still bound at the arms, once again utilized the wind to raise her up and settle down atop another tall standing oak tree. 11:53 – A.M – Once atop the tree – the sky turned black and rain began to fall heavily, even as the water receded. Wonder Woman slowly began to recover, but multiple consistent lightening strikes kept her down for several minutes. Any slight recovery was met with another round of lightening strikes. DECISION: STORM. Superhero Battle Rules: One hour time limit. Rendering opponent immobile for longer than 3 minutes constitutes a win. Players may forfeit at any time by discarding their weapons or removing their masks. Who will win? Stayed tuned!
