VICKI SPEEGLE

Vicki Speegle is a native of Akron, Ohio. After serving in the U.S. Navy tracking submarines, she studied film & television production at New York University where she wrote, directed, and produced two shorts.

Vicki has several screenplays to her credit, many of which have placed in competition, including Chesterfield, American Zoetrope, and Women in Film.

Her screenplay DOLORES placed in the top 15 out of over 1,000 entries in American Gem and won 2nd place in Francis Ford Coppola's shorts on Zoetrope.com. Her short film OLDER won 2nd place in the Pioneer Theatre Short Film Slam in New York City. And her most recent script LOVED ONES recently placed in the top 5 of Bluecat.

Vicki is also a website designer and nanny to her beautiful niece. She is writing a feature script for Applause Films and is at work on her ninth screenplay TRIXIE DIXON: GIRL DETECTIVE.
