Money-laundering hand bag hand-me-down

Usurer! Don’t want to be used by you.

Exchange rate too high above a decent wage.

Intent, interest overdone and outworn by you.

Better to await the plateau of old age in shame.

Your battle cry “Live!” falls on deaf ears;

a defeatist, I mistrust the intent behind the cry.

I look onward without a word,

as the wise look on while others undo themselves in senseless acts.
