Tony Gilroy: Born in New York in 1956, to a screenwriting and directing father, Gilroy’s deepest roots in filmmaking are as a screenwriter. He penned the screenplays for such action-thrillers as The Devil’s Advocate, Armageddon, and the Bourne franchise. He both wrote and directed Michael Clayton (2007), for which Tony received dual Oscar nominations. Gilroy is currently working on the screenplay for the remake of Red Dawn (due in 2010).
