REVIEW:

Five years of my life is gone. Everything has changed. The world is different, and my fingers tremble over the strings of time. With one touch, I know your past, your future, and I could save you. But my warnings fall on deaf ears, and the fate of the world rests in my hands. But what would become of me?

I lived the ordinary life. My future was crystal clear. The love of my life took me by the hand, and there was no fear, no worry. Everything was perfection, and then the car accident came. And my coma robbed me of everything, everyone I had.

He wore the suit of a saint, but beneath the layers of his façade, a snake waited to strike. He coiled around promises never intended to be fulfilled. His charm stole the hearts and minds of those cheering before him, and his words were as smooth as snake oil. But his touch was cold, and all he sought was power. And the end of the world dangled at his fingertips, and the only one who could stop him was me.

The ordinary life is one that we take for granted, but then our life is derailed by fate. And everything we took for granted is gone, and there is no going back. And as we struggle to rebuild our lives, we realize that we are different, and who we have become is a stranger to who we once were. But the person in the mirror is who we are now, and our future is no longer crystal clear. All our hopes and dreams are gone, and a new journey begins. And the struggle of one man gifted with the vision of time holds us in his hands.

And as Armageddon approaches, his journey comes to an end. The power in his hands could save the world, but what would he have to sacrifice? Could he return to the ones he loves, or would he have to leave them behind? Would fate give him another chance at life, or would he have to sacrifice all to stop Greg Stillson, a man that would stop at nothing to control the world, hurling it into its destruction? And as the fate of Johnny Smith grips us with suspense, we are captivated by his unforgotten story, fall deep into the conflict of his heart and soul, and we realize that under the layers of an ordinary life, a hero waits to rise up through the Dead Zone.
