My name is Steven Loeb. I am a twenty-three year old college graduate with a degree in Film Production, with a minor in English. I was born and raised in Queens, NY and went to school at Hofstra University on Long Island.
I am a lover of all genres of film, and have been since I was around thirteen, when I was given the AFI 100 Greatest Movies list and became determined to see them all.
My ultimate career goal is to be a writer, specifically of screenplays and reviews. I was a staff writer for the Hofstra Chronicle, where I wrote reviews for numerous movies from 2007 through 2008, including Iron Man and Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium. Two times my reviews were selected as the lead story for the B-section of the paper.
I also want to work on the production side of film, which I have been able to do a bit of when I worked for Top Chef last summer.
