As director of Doghouse Riley Productions, I have set out to create original works of film, music and most recently television. Originally a plan to make my own independent shorts, Doghouse Riley quickly became the production company for other artist’s orignal works as well.
I was trained as an actor for two years in Toronto at The New School of Drama and was then off to New York City to study for a year at The Neighborhood Playhouse before returning to Toronto to study at Second City.
My work as a writer/director/actor has been featured on shows for national televsion on both Global and YTV and am now embarking on a potential deal with The Food Network and Showcase as I have been commissioned to direct pilot episodes of new shows that are to be pitched to both networks.
More personally I have a few feature scripts written, one of which I would like to get off the ground immediately and a few other short films in the works which I am in the works of getting producers and therefore funding on board.
My first short, Empty Chamber, has also just been accepted into the Focus Niagara Film Fesitival at Niagara Falls as well as the Queens International Film Festival. I am now currently acting in and directing another short that I have written in French, Italian and English called A Sad Smile.
