Watch the MODERATION VIDEO OF THIS FILM from the Festival Screening Split City’s Creator/Lead Actor, Scott Sawyer enlisted Executive Producer Jamie Paul Rock (TekWar, Mutant X, ReGenesis) and Producer’s Randy Kumano and Julia Stan, who in turn were able to attract a wealth of industry professionals to be a part of his Action/Comedy creation. Along side Scott were some actors with very impressive résumés, such as Scott Thompson (Kids in the Hall, Larry Sanders) Gerry Hall (This Hour has 22 Minutes, Jane Show) and Alex Nussbaum (Sean Cullen Show, Boy/Girl Thing). Director, Mark Sanders was chosen based on his short comedy SNAPS and 2nd Unit directing for feature films such as the dismal American Psycho 2, and action packed Hypercube and Cube Zero. Also on the crew were industry veterans, such as Cinematographer John Berrie (Playmakers, Nero Wolfe Mystery) and Composer Norman Orenstein (Robocop:PrimeDirectives, Hypercube). Split City was shot within a 24 hour period as a promotional vehicle for an exciting new television series. However, upon insistence of the Director, it plays as a stand-alone short film with uncomfortably ‘gripping’ narrative.
