REVIEW:

The vast ocean of life reaches out toward eternity. A stone's throw ripples the waves of moments we live. With every current, things change, and choices are made. But what if we could live a thousand different lives?

If I could turn back time, I would do things differently. Mistakes made would be erased. Hearts broken would be healed, and love denied would be won. And if I knew then what I know now, my life would never have gone down the road it traveled, and things would be different. And I would never be the same.

But with every fork in the road, we determine the next course of action. We make mistakes. Life changes. We go forward, and we can't go back. But what if instead of going right, we went left? What if our hearts did not have to break? What if fate led us elsewhere? What if life were more than what it seemed?

Endless possibilities of a life lived is a tale told in the movie, Sliding Doors. In a split second, Helen's life will divide into two alternate realities. As events unfold, different directions will be taken, and the hand of fate will pull the strings of love and loss. And as her journey of living two separate lives folds into one, life will take an unexpected turn, but true love may find her still.

How do we know when we met our soul mate? Does it lie within the chance meetings? Is it in his eyes, his voice, or in his soul? What if we were betrayed? Would it be love blind or love misunderstood? What if the man we deny was the one meant for our heart?

In Sliding Doors, we enter a world, where life weaves a web of intricate lines. Deja vu tingles our nerves, and the drama of love pulls at our hearts. And the what if we made different choices, what if life were different is answered, and we follow a young woman along two roads, defining who she is to become.

The definition of life and its mysteries echoes deep within this masterpiece of a motion picture. A brilliantly written storyline takes us on a whirlwind of one woman's experience, making us reflect back on the life that we have lived. The discovery of true love brings hope to our hearts, and the belief that things do happen for a reason makes us question the experiences that have led us to the now. And you never know what elevator of fate will take us to the next road of our life or lead us to the one that we are meant to love.
