Commentator Recap:
Coast City – We’re not entirely sure what happened, but the scheduled time of this match was supposed to be 5:00 P.M. However, when commentators, officials and spectators arrived at 4:00 P.M. the fight had already broken out. Buildings lie on the ground in rubble, and both competitors looked bruised and beaten senseless.
4:07 – Green Goblin was firing an array of pumpkin bombs at Sinestro, only to be caught in a yellow net of light and thrown back towards him. Goblin coasted on his glider, almost reveling in the explosions happening around him.
4:12 – Sinestro was able to knock Green Goblin off of his Glider and hold him upside down high above the streets.
Sinestro: I will drop you Norman.
Goblin: Do it! I don’t care.
Sinestro: Aren’t you the least bit afraid?
Goblin: Who’s got time to be afraid when you’re insane? That’s an advantage of mine you’ll never have. Watch…
4:17 – Goblin reached over with his left arm and grabbed his right wrist. And in a blink of an eye, wrenched it in the opposite direction, crunching the bone out loud. Sinestro looked on in disgust as the Goblin just laughed to himself.
4:19 – Goblin’s wrist seemed to fully heal itself and after taking off his purple glove, was able to reach through Sinestro’s yellow shield with his green hand. He grabbed Sinestro by the throat and began to squeeze.
4:23 – Sinestro was unable to maintain breathing and fell to the ground. Goblin’s glider picked him up before he fell as well.
4:37 – “I believe I’ve wasted enough of my time on you sir.”
Goblin proceeded to drop several pumpkin bombs on the ground surrounding Sinestro, resulting in more debris, a large landfill and a cloud of smoke.
4:40 – Goblin flew into the cloud of smoke and within a moment or two flew out the other side with Sinestro – skewered by the knives of the Glider.
FINAL DECISION: GREEN GOBLIN
Superhero Battle Rules:
One hour time limit.
Rendering opponent immobile for longer than 3 minutes constitutes a win.
Players may forfeit at any time by discarding their weapons or removing their masks.
