OCTOBER 2007 CLICK HERE and submit your Short or Feature Screenplay to our future Monthly events. The WILDsound Screenplay Festival's October Reading will be held on Wednesday, October 24th at the National Film Board Cinema, 150 John Street, in the Entertainment District in downtown Toronto. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. We will be reading the first acts of the three winning scripts, and the audience will vote on which script they want to hear in its entirety at our December event. The event will be Moderated by Multiple Award Winning Director MICHAEL KENNEDY OF THE FEATURE SCREENPLAY EVENT: ACE IN THE HOLE Ace in the Hole is a family comedy about a swinging single professional gambler who opens the door one day to find the 8-year-old son he didn't know he had on the other side. CAST LIST DAKOTA - Brent Barkley Script will be NARRATED by Andrea Mitchell MY KHRUSHCHEV SEPTEMBER A young boy believes the Russian leader is the only person who can fix the arguement between his Father and Grandfather. CAST LIST MICKEY - Neil Babcock Script will be NARRATED by Kesta Graham WANDERLUST True story of the writer's notorious and romantic 1930s era vagabond grandparents, Edwin Williams and Gwen Van de Kik. REDS meets Dr. ZHIVAGO. CAST LIST EDWIN - Brendan Wall Script will be NARRATED by Karen Ivany BUY TICKETS IN ADVANCE
