Twenty-two year old Ryan Knight has been making short films since fourteen years of age, many of which have won awards and prestige at many national and international film festivals.
This past summer, Ryan was an EPK and web interactive videographer for The Movie Network’s new mini-series, Z.O.S., shooting on location in Hungary, Croatia and Bosnia. Back on native soil, Ryan then directed the first two episodes on a new full-hour online web-series entitled Team Epic, following a group of Canadian superheroes in an ultra-real Toronto.
Recently, his WWI drama ‘The Road of the World’ won the First Place/Audience Choice Award at the National Film Board of Canada’s ‘Make Shorts, Not War’ film competition, sending him to France and Belgium to shoot a documentary on the 90th anniversary of the WWI Battle of the Somme, in June and July 2006.
