ROSHI NAYEESearch WILDsound  Born and raised in the UK for eighteen years, I’m still on that “coming of age” journey. I’m a voluntary worker for a media organisation and have been on the production team for a couple of films for them. I’m also working on a live show as a presenter and floor manager, so I’m looking forward to the big day! I’m currently working on my first script, a short fantasy based in Ireland. I’m aspiring to become a filmmaker along with a handful of people I know, but it can be exceedingly difficult to find such jobs here where I live in Preston! As I said, I’ve worked on numerous films but am looking to concentrate my effort on gaining more experience in features. My love for films began when I was a young tod. I’d always wonder how the films were made and when we began to purchase DVD’s, I’d hunt down the behind-the-scenes before I began watching the movie itself! One of the first movies which inspired my filmmaking dreams was (and yes, believe it or not!) Harry Potter. Let’s not get too deep into that! I don’t restrict myself to certain genres; the key to enjoying a film is the aesthetic feeling you personally get from it. If it’s visually pleasing to me, regardless of it being a horror or a comedy, I know I’ve achieved something from it. I make it a point to respect the reviews I read for movies I have watched or am going to watch, however I never always agree with what is said. That’s what a review is; your own opinion.
