Born and raised in Toronto Ron Basch knew from a young age that he wanted to be an actor. Ron started his training in Gastown, B.C, then followed his passion for the craft to New York, and Toronto, where he studied with renowned acting coaches like Bruce Clayton, Kevin McCormick, Jacqueline McClintock, Miriam Lawrence and Ginger Howard Freidman.

He is a veteran in the commercial with appearances in ads for MTV, Casino Rama, Subway, ETrade and many more. He has also utilized his acting abilities in television and film roles such as " Masterminds" , "Remote" and "3 Stories".

Ron's recent work in the independent film scene has led to the creation of his new production company "Red Sneakers Media". The company already has one award winning film "Alchemy" under its belt in which Ron both starred and produced, and is currently in post production on its second short film and in development for its third.

Ron's driving force is and always will be acting. Whether its commercials, television or film, Ron' s goals is the same: to make an intimate connection with the audience.
