BILL, an almost humanized one dollar bill, is tracked throughsituations in the money world. Bill demonstrates his personal values, aspirations, and disillusions of being only a one dollar bill. Interaction with other money reinforces his goal of being a respected higher denomination. He eventually falls in love with another female one dollar bill, TILLIE. To his dismay, he finds relationships are extremely fluid in a constantly changing currency world. Since Bill is invariably passed on, we see him in situations involving crime, bullies, dangerous animals, romance, space experiments, and assorted obstacles. Tillie and Bill are thrown together again, and then mercilessly separated. At the end, they finally reunite in very unusual circumstances.
2. Why did you decide to write this screenplay?
Like many screenwriter, one is constantly looking for unique andinspiring ideas suitable for all ages. I always try to be thecharacter and live life through their eyes. Although not considered human, I wondered what Bill's life would be like if he could think and speak.
3. How long have you been writing screenplays?
Approximately ten years. Prior to screenplays, I published ninebooks.

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975)
5. What artist in the film industry would you love to work with?
Among the numerous fine actors in the entertainment field, DustinHoffman stands out. He has an ability to convincingly transform into different characters, depending on the story..
6. How many screenplays have you written?
Twelve.
7. Ideally, where would you like to be in 5 years?
Currently just completed a book entitled SOL'S LAST TAPE, based on my un-produced screenplay of the same name. Also, I just started a new animated holiday screenplay entitled, HEY'S CHRISTMAS. I see myself as a writer in five year, increasing my skills and broadening my venues.
8. Describe your process; do you have a set routine, method for writing?
From home, I spend at least six hours each day on a particularwriting project. Given the fact that I have ALS and am paralyzedfrom the neck down, I utilize a program called KeyStrokes. I use a head mouse attached to my glasses and a superimposed keyboard on my computer. However, it only allows me to type one letter at a time. The writing process is long and tedious - but well worth it.
9. Apart from writing, what else are you passionate about?
Since my mobility is limited, I've had to exclude certain areas of interest. Currently, I enjoy music, movies, reading, politics and discussions with a network of friends.

Primarily the exposure WILDsound Script Contest is known to provide.
11. Any advice or tips you’d like to pass on to other writers?
If you are writing for the money, change careers. If you'rewriting because you love to write, you have a chance to succeed as a screenwriter. One must be prepared to invest time, thought and the ability to accept criticism and rejection.
