Richard M Johnson has been writing professionally for over twenty years. In Print, his most recent work can be found in the anthologies “Meeting across the River” stories based on the song by Bruce Springsteen under the pseudonym Michael John Richardson, and “The Story Salon’s Big Book Of Stories”. Stories from Los Angeles’ longest running story telling venue. His play “Holiday Suite” had a five-week run in Los Angeles in 2005, to favorable reviews. He has had a bakers dozen worth of articles, published, and his poetry can be found scattered across the internet.
Richard has several screenplays available. “Blackridge Falls” A Horror-Comedy about the infestation of a small town by a horde of Demons, after a gateway to hell is opened two weeks before Halloween. “Snow Angeles” A holiday drama story about a young amnesiac, found in a snow bank, and his struggle to prove to the doctor’s who are caring for him, that he really is who he believes he is… An Angel. And “Piece Out” A teen comedy revolving around two high school girls, one white, one black who hate each other, but must learn to respect each other when they inadvertently piss off a gypsy, and she switches their bodies. Richard has several other scripts, stories and pitches completed.
