Born in Tennessee in 1963, Tarantino dropped out of high school and took up acting, before his immersion in film as a video store clerk. Through inside connections, he was able to begin making his own films on the quick; his second such foray, 1992’s Reservoir Dogs, earned him notices at the Sundance Festival and an instant cult status.
Shortly thereafter Tarantino sold the script of Natural Born Killers, and his fresh, edgy star was on the rise in Hollywood.
1994’s Pulp Fiction branded Quentin’s popular, iconic standing, hailed for his retro-savvy and hyper-violent style which earned dubbing of the pronoun “Tarantinoesque”.
