REVIEW:

I thought I could escape love’s grasp. I wished for him, knowing that such a man could not exist, but love slipped through my defense. And it broke my heart, and I refused to let it hold me again. But then he came and found me, but was it too late to save me?

I could feel her pain cutting through me. He was hurting her, and I tried to stop him. But then I found myself trapped, driving along a dark road heading to nowhere, but he was the one in the driver’s seat. And her fate and mine rested in his hands, and he sat back and smiled that charming but sinister smile. I had no choice. I did what I knew would haunt me later, but I had to save her.

I never wanted this life. I just wanted to be normal, but normality did not exist in my heritage. And they would never give me a chance, but I had to try. I wanted to leave the past behind, but I never realized that I would be the one to break its curse. And I would never live the ordinary life.

He found her under the pretense of searching for a cold-blooded killer. He held Sally’s letter close to his heart. Her words struck him deep, and he was there for her. But would she let him save her, or would she turn him away, afraid that their love would only be a lie? But he wished for her as she once wished for him, and he would wait for her. But would her love save her sister and set her free?

We are all afraid to love. We fear our hearts would be torn in two, and we would be left alone, mourning what we lost. But what if true love found you even in your darkest hour? Would you open that door again and let love inside, or would you push it away, afraid that it was nothing but a lie? We can’t deny what we want the most, what can save our lives, but can we take a chance? Or would the complexities of life keep us bound and blind, lost, or would its power still work its way through our defenses and sweep us off our feet? And the aroma of romance with a touch of magic finds home in our hearts through movies such as Practical Magic.
