Peter Conrad writes, directs, and produces. Since launching his career in 1987, he’s created a wide range of dynamic and thoughtful content, from educational programming and documentaries, to commercials, drama and theatre.

Peter is currently producing and directing the educational DVD, The Quantum Conundrum as part of the Perimeter Explorations series for Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics. He’s also producing and directing the lecture series Celebrating Science for Perimeter Institute and Discovery Channel Canada.

In 2007-2008, Peter produced and directed The Mystery of Dark Matter, the first in the Perimeter Explorations series. Also in 2007, Peter and his crew traveled to the Bolivian jungle to film the documentary Guarding A Musical Treasure in association with the Hispanic Baroque Research Project at the University of Western Ontario.

Through his production company, Conrad Entertainment, he is currently developing two feature screenplays, Thirst, a dramatic feature set in a troubled Canadian city at the end of World War I, and The Uncertainty Principle, a black comedy in which trying to find the ultimate explanation could cost you your life.

Peter was also the visual effects designer on two highly successful multimedia musical revues for Drayton Entertainment – Twist & Shout: Music of the British Invasion and Legends: A Salute to Musical Pioneers. The shows have delighted tens of thousands of theatre goers across Ontario since their premieres in 2005 and 2007.
