Norman Wilner Bio
Norman Wilner is the senior film writer for Toronto's NOW Magazine. He also writes about movies and DVD for Sympatico/MSN, and his work has been published in Cinema Scope, Montage, Marquee and even The Hollywood Reporter that one time. You may also remember him from his appearances as a critic and commentator on CBC Radio, CTV Newsnet, TVOntario's "Saturday Night at the Movies" and Rogers' "Your World This Week", or from his 15-year run as home-video columnist for The Toronto Star.
As a member of FIPRESCI, the international film critics' organization, he's sat on film-festival juries in Toronto, Montreal, London and Palm Springs. Earlier this year, he was elected secretary and vice-president of the Toronto Film Critics Association, which is pretty cool. He lives in Toronto's Kensington Market neighborhood, just a short walk from any of fourteen coffee shops, and can often be found blogging at www.wilnervision.com , too, because technically that's procrastinating, not working. You're listen to the Norman Wilner podcast from June 16 2008
