Neil Whitely was born in Sheffield, England and emigrated to Canada at age seven with his Jamaican parents. He began his career as a singer in nightclubs around Toronto and then moved on to musical theatre. It was there he finally realized his dream of becoming an actor, a dream he had carried with him since he was a young child. Neil's experience on stage whetted his appetite for more acting and after a period of study, he began his on-screen career. Neil can be seen on both the small and big screens in commercials and films. His film/TV credits include MAYDAY, THE LOSS, I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING, DONORS and REBIRTH which was screened at the Beverly Hills Film Festival and the Montreal Film Festival. He has appeared in stage productions such as JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, TOM SAWYER and INTO THE WOODS.
