Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium is the strangest, most fantastic, most wonderful toy store in the world. In fact, it's a magic toy store and everything in it comes to life--including the store itself. The emporium asks only one thing of its customers--you must believe it to see it. This movie stars Dustin Hoffman, Natalie Portman and Jason Bateman.
Robert's Review
"Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium" is only an hour and a half long, but it feels more like 5 hours. It's so ridiculously slow and boring that I felt like a succubus had grabbed hold of me and drained the life right out of me. I left the theater a shallow husk of what I'd been before entering that theater… lifeless and cold. The movie had no real point at all, other than to amuse very small children with flashy effects of toys flying around & balls bouncing everywhere. For anyone older than say 5-6 years old, this movie is total crap and isn't worth the price of admission. In fact, they should pay us to go and watch this crap, not the other way around. So save your $10 and go see something else.
All in all, I'd give this movie 1 Magical Toy Store (out of 5). Re-watch value: NONE
