MIKE MEHALICK BIOSearch WILDsound  Mike Mehalick was born in and raised in Middletown, New Jersey just blocks away from The Quik Stop where filmmaker Kevin Smith began his career with Clerks. Mehalick is currently entering his third year at the School of Visual Arts in New York, New York in the Screenwriting focus program. He has a deep seeded love for all things film. Mike idolized Walt Disney as a child hoping to grow up to become an animator and later shooting his own short films in high school and onwards. For years now Mike has pursued the best in both contemporary and classic filmmaking and has developed a wide pallet for many tastes and styles. Mehalick’s only hope going forward both in his career and as a movie-lover is that the art of film continues to amaze and awe and that the legacy of it’s past is appreciated the way it was meant to be; in a dark room, amongst an audience of strangers, on a screen bigger than life.
