Michael Legedza Bio

Michael's film GOSHAWK played at WILDsound's Film Festival in February 2007

Michael Legedza graduated from the Queen's University Film Studies Program in 2004. Within the program he wrote, directed, and edited several short films including The Wedding at Cana, a personal documentary; and The Lecture, a satirical fiction. After graduating he immediately joined forces with writer/director Chris Gamble, providing the sound recording and design on the independent feature Versus Ivan (official selection of the 2005 Kingston Canadian Film Festival), which was shot entirely on location in Yellowknife, NWT.

Michael has also written, produced, directed, and edited over half a dozen well-received corporate videos for Enbridge Gas Distribution. He spends his free time screenwriting at his home in Markham, Ontario. Goshawk is his most ambitious project to date.
