PODCAST with Matthew Taylor
April 9th 2009
- Discussing Matthew's short film playing at WILDsound, Storyboards and his body of work as a filmmaker!

For several years Matthew Taylor has been developing as a filmmaker through a variety of creative and professional experiences within the film industry: photographer, camera assistant, storyboard artist and screenwriter. Returning home from living and working in Ireland four years ago, he began to focus on writing and directing.

His first script, a short film adaptation of THE PIT AND THE PENDULUM was executive produced by stop-motion animation pioneer Ray Harryhausen.

Of three short films written and directed by Matthew this year, FIVE FOOT TEN is the second collaboration between he and his filmmaking partner producer Shauna Jamison.

It was voted best top film at the One Minute Film & Video Festival in November 2006 at the Bloor Cinema in Toronto.

FIVE FOOT TEN was showcased at the January 2007 WILDsound Feedback Film Festival Event.
