My name is Martyn Warren and I have a big passion for film and television. I am also a proud autistic person and my goal is to become the first auteur autistic filmmaker.
After eleven years at a special needs school, I went to Braintree College in 2005 and studied a total of three years of filmmaking on two courses, with first year on BTEC First Diploma in Media and the other two years on BTEC National Diploma in Media: Moving Image.
In 2007, I won the Colchester Youth Awards for educational achievement.
I have now finished my first year at Thames Valley University and I am studying BA: Video Production and Film Studies.
Over the last four years, I have learnt how to use professional camera equipment, write essays and reviews at professional standards, write screenplays and use Avid and Final Cut Pro for editing.
