Marianthi Evans, WILDsound, screenplays, actors, Canadian actresses

Marianthi Evans was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario to Greek immigrants, and from the time she was a little girl always dreamed of being an actor. After completing a year at Carleton University for Journalism, Marianthi decided to take a year off of her post secondary education to pursue her passion. She applied to the University of Windsor where she was accepted in their 4 year B.F.A – Acting program.

During her University career, Marianthi developed a flair for creating physical and vocal characteristics in her roles. She also has a talent for picking up accents and portraying characters from different nationalities and backgrounds.

Shortly after her graduation she signed on with her agency and has had much luck with her professional acting career. She has appeared on television, in a number of commercials (Canadian and US National), feature films, television, as well as starring in a number of short films.

Marianthi has performed for the WILDsound Screenplay Reading Series Events.
