LIZA BURNS

Growing up in England and being the only girl in the family with three elder brothers to contend with, I was often to be found in my back garden on my very much cherished swing. I would spend hours soaring high above my mother's magnificent roses, singing out to my hearts content. The heady scent and glorious array of pink, yellow and red roses a blur beneath my teeny dangling feet. It was during those early years that I discovered the captivating world of movies and escapism.........

I used to imagine (with the help of my five Aunties) I was 'ELiza Doolittle' from 'My Fair Lady' sitting in London's Covent Garden surrounded by beautiful flowers and singing 'Wouldn't it be loverly' at the top of my voice. And it was riding high above the clouds, with the sun on my face, that I thought I was 'Sandy' from 'Grease'.

My love affair with the silver screen at such a tender age was alluring and couldn't help but influence my path as an adult. So it was of no surprise to my family that I went on to become a Make-up Artist working for the TV/Film/Fashion industry in London.

Today and with several writing courses under my belt, I am currently working on a little something of my own. We'll see...........
