Lisa O'Donnell BioLisa O'Donnell is currently based in Los Angeles after having just moved from London, England via her birthplace in Scotland. In 2000 she won The Orange Prize for Screenwriting with a screenplay called The Wedding Gift. The same year she was shortlisted for the Dennis Potter Award with Woodbine Nell. Over the years Lisa has worked for Channel Four, Mersey TV and the BBC. She has worked on several TV dramas and recently finished working on a screenplay for Embargo Films. Cruel World is her most recent screenplay and was recently shortlisted for the ASA International Screenwriting Award.
