Laura FortierSearch WILDsound  Laura Fortier - BIOGRAPHY I am a graduate of Western Washington University where I studied video and art. I am an aspiring filmmaker, who is just getting started in Los Angeles. I have been freelancing as low level camera department on indie and student films and doing a lot of writing. I am also interning for two production companies in the creative development department. I love film because it is the only art medium in which the visual, storytelling, and the psychology of people intertwine. Working with other artists is one of the most satisfying experiences, and film takes an army of artists. I am creative, fascinated by people, and ready for a break from schleppingheavy things on set. I am focusing on my writing and prepping andplanning to direct my own short in the near future. My hope is to return to set better qualified for one of the coveted creative positions. But I’ll PA in a heartbeat, I already miss being on set.
