Larissa Gomes Bio
Larissa Gomes Larissa is a multiple talent as an actress, screenwriter and composer/singer who has performed internationally and shared the stage with platinum recording artists. A solo album is in the works. She contributed a track to the recent feature release “Cake”, having previously worked with director Nisha Ganatra acting in the Gemini-award nominated series “Bliss” (Showcase). As well Larissa starred in the pilot “In Justice” (ABC) shot in L.A. opposite Kyle MacLachlan. Feature films include “American East”, “Resident Evil 2: Apocalypse”, “Get Over It” (Miramax), “Zebra Lounge” (Alliance) and “Phantom of the Megaplex” (Disney) acting with the late Mickey Rooney. Larissa has been in numerous television series and m.o.w. projects, including re-curring roles on the critically acclaimed “La Femme Nikita” and “Leap Years”, and Guest Star roles for “CSI: Miami”, “Out of Practice”, “Missing”, “Odyssey 5”, and “Tracker”. Support roles include “The Crooked E: The Unshredded Truth About Enron” (ABC) and “Feast of All Saints” (Showtime). Having gained fantastic coverge from The William Morris Agency, her co-written feature screenplay “Fascination Street” is currently in circulation. Larissa is a graduate of York University having received her B.A. with a major in sociology, a specialization in criminology and a minor in film studies. She is also a member of Amnesty International and is fluent in three languages.
