REVIEW:

The rules are simple. Don't be seen. Don't get interested, and never stay too long. Do the job and leave, but the rules always seem to become broken. And mistakes are paid back in bullets.

His death haunted my mind. One mistake, one pause in time delivered his sentence, and his cries still find me in the darkest of night. I can't shake him, and I want this life no longer. But once in, there is no getting out.

Her marriage was falling apart. Why did she love him? Could she give him another chance? He never seemed to leave, and she was still struggling with the pieces of her life. But then they came, and now she was fighting to live. But would her love die, or would it save her from the one holding a gun to her head?

His mistake was not killing him when he had the chance. He knew the boy was trouble, but the ghost of his brother was the one now looking back at him. And his mistake would open a door that he could never step back from. Instead, he drove deeper into turmoil, death, and there was a heavy price hanging around his head. And he knew that his end was coming, but there was no going back. There were no more chances because she saw his face.

She was ready to say good-bye to him and move on. There was no going back, and she knew it. But did he? She couldn't wait, and she slammed the door closed. But then she saw his face, the black bird of death, and she knew that he would come back for her. He would never stop, and nobody could save her.

Carmen's life trickled down along a silver bullet. Cold metal touched her skin, and a finger itched along the trigger. And death waited to carry her into nothing, darkness, but bright lights came to wash her in hope. But fear dug in tighter as her husband, Wayne called out to her. She couldn't answer, and her eyes fell on the one set on taking their lives. But then he made a mistake, giving her one chance to try and survive.

Cold steel bit in deep, bleeding innocence. Hard life echoed along hollow bullets, but once events were set into motion, there was no going back. And conflict fired away, ripping lives already torn further apart, and love dangled by a thread. And chaos reigned as one fought to survive while the other struggled to disappear, but the chain of events locked them together. And they edged further into a climatic storyline, and their lives stepped forth through the hands of driven actors. And their fate presses along the trigger, and the fight to survive ends in a gunshot. And we are released from the coils of suspense, from a thriller known as Killshot.
