Along with several short films and various theatrical productions, Katerina
was featured as Cleopatra in the biographical documentary; "CLEOPATRA’S
PALACE/THE REAL CLEOPATRA" which aired in 140 countries on the Discovery
channel. From Queen of the Nile, Ms. Taxia jumped into a wedding gown to
become Toronto’s ultimate Italian princess, marrying her Prince Charming
five times a week in the smash comedy TONY & TINA’S WEDDING at the Second
City. After her 2 year stint as one of the original cast members of TNT she
went onto do some independent films and feature films including
“BLACK IRIS”, starring Gena Rowlands and Laura Linney and had guest
starring roles on the CBC series “THIS IS WONDERLAND”, and
Discovery/NBC's "DARCY’S WILDLIFE". She also co-produced and co-starred in
Edward Allan Baker’s provocative play about domestic violence
“DOLORES” for the Toronto Fringe Festival. Among studying with various
teachers, she also trained at the Second City and most recently has been
studying Meisner with Neighborhood Playhouse, John Riven.
