JOSHUA STARNES Joshua Starnes is a writer and filmmaker from Houston, Texas. He has worked in the independent film community in Houston for ten years on micro budget films, shorts, commercials and music videos. His first short film, "Sherlock" screened at a dozen film festivals across the nation. He also writes for Red 5 Comics, a Houston publisher, and worked briefly as a staff writer for Lone Star Virtual Systems, a small video game studio. At the moment he covers the energy beat in Houston for McGraw-Hill. Since 2004 he has written film reviews, interviews and features for Coming Soon!, one of the highest trafficked film websites in the world.
