John is host of the THE JOHN MOORE SHOW on CFRB Radio in Toronto every day from 3 to 6PM. He also hosts MYSTERY INK on Global television and GUY STUFF on Men TV, and is the house liberal at The National Post. John has also made a side career out of movie and television acting roles in movies such as THE WHOLE NINE YARDS, THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW and a shopping list of really awful B list productions.
Among his other accomplishments, he co-founded Montreal's On The Spot improv troupe, with which he still performs every now and then. In addition to movie reviews which he has provided, among other places, on the Ted Woloshyn Show on CFRB, John did his thesis on Alfred Hitchcock, which definitely qualifies him to know a thing or two about film.
In Hitchcock's eyes the movement was dramatic, not the acting. When he wanted the audience to be moved, he moved the camera. He was a subtle human being, and he was also the best director I have ever worked with. Bruce Dern
