JOHN MAYJohn May is creator of the hit animated series Captain Flamingo, currently seen on Toon Disney and YTV, and has written or produced shows including Family/Disney Channel's Naturally, Sadie, CBC's Our Hero, Nickelodeon's The Journey of Allen Strange, Disney's Flash Forward, and YTV's Screech Owls. He's also written for Life with Derek, Black Hole High, The Famous Jett Jackson, Caitlin's Way,Yvon of the Yukon, D'Myna Leagues, Stickin Around, Arthur, The Magic Schoolbus and Teletoon's new Jimmy Two Shoes. He also co-wrote and directed the feature film Rubber Carpet, a festival hit, as well as many award-winning short films. May has won three Writer's Guild of Canada Awards and has been nominated twice more. A four-time Gemini nominee, he is currently in development on several new series he's created for YTV, Family Channel, The Comedy Network, and TVO.
