John Johnson started his career off with the shot on film stop animation project Spaceship. Since then, he has worked on several stop motion projects as a creator, designer and editor. In 2002, he and fellow stop motion freak Dave Czerwinski started 3 Frame Productions, dedicated to the painstaking tasks inherent with the medium they both love so much. Described by many in the business as a “true” editor, John has done everything from music videos, to feature films, corporate spots to short films, bringing his attention to the details to everything he does.

As a founding member, lead designer and senior editor with The Freedumb Project he has been integral to the companies burgeoning success. Born in Calgary he has been a Torontonian for 27 years and has loved everyday spent here since. As a movie buff, John enjoys the cult classics of the sixties, seventies and eighties.
