Jeremy LaLonde was born and raised in Cayuga, Ontario. It was often said that he could write before he could read. His story-telling abilities carried through to high school where he joined a local theatre group and eventually took it over at the young age of seventeen. By the age of eighteen he had written nine two-act plays that were being produced throughout Southwestern Ontario. While studying filmmaking at Niagara College LaLonde, with his partner Zach Melnick, he produced five feature length historical documentaries for the Trillium Foundation, which now circulate in high-school curriculums. His award winning short film SELFLESS, COLD AND COMPOSED has toured in New York, Ottawa, Toronto, and Niagara Falls. He has just finished editing the feature film THE LOOKALIKE and is readying plans for his first feature film, THE UNTITLED WORK OF PAUL SHEPARD. Jeremy currently resides in Toronto, Ontario where he works as a freelance editor, writer, and director. He is also one of the script readers for the WILDsound Reading Series committee.
