Jef Mallory Bio Jef has recently appeared in the m.o.w. “The House Next Door” with Lara Flynn Boyle and “Angela’s Eyes” (both Lifetime Network). Upcoming is a principal role opposite Polly Shannon in “Victor” (CBC) playing the older brother in the story of Canadian Olympic swimmer Victor Davis. Jef was also in the feature release “Man of the Year” (Universal, starring Robin Williams) opposite Laura Linney and directed by Barry Levinson. Born in Belleville, Ontario, Jef began his acting studies in Vancouver in the early ‘90s and soon after started working professionally in Toronto. He has appeared in dozens of international commercials, film and tv projects working with acclaimed directors Jerry Ciccoritti, Ken Finkelman, Steve DiMarco, George Romero, George Bloomfield, Eleanore Lindo to name a few. Guest Starring roles include “Twice In A Lifetime” (Pebblehut) and “The Hoop Life” (Showtime) as well as a series regular role in the first prime time Canadian soap opera “Riverdale” (CBC). Jef played in Rated X (Showtime) for the directorial debut of Emilio Estevez about the beginnings of the porn industry in San Francisco. Jef has the talent and ability to be both comedic and to find the subtle nuances in the most heart rendering of scripts. He has versatility and range in the roles he takes on and is definitely one to watch as a Canadian star on the rise.
