Jay Roach: Born in New Mexico in 1957, Roach earned a Masters in film. His start in the industry was as a cameraman and cinematographer, and later writing for television. Roach’s second feature as director was the 1997 comedy smash Austin Powers, which solidified him as a genre player. In addition to the Austin Powers franchise, Roach has also been at the helm of the Meet the Parents/Fockers franchise. He is currently working on sequels for each.
