Jack L Freeman was born and raised in Greensboro, North Carolina. Having attended Western Carolina University, he graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in English Literature and Film.
Subsequent to graduation, Mr. Freeman worked as Production Assistant for the independent feature horror film, The Gravedancers, starring internationally well-known actor Tchéky Karyo (Bad Boys; The Patriot). Shortly after, he worked with the Los Angeles based company, RJB Productions. There he optioned screenplays from various writers and met with potential investors. Then in 2005, Mr. Freeman was invited by the principals of SymPics International, Inc. to take an active role as an Associate Producer in the upcoming feature film, Home of the Giants, starring Haley Joel Osment (Sixth Sense).
Since Home of the Giants completion, Mr. Freeman has teamed up with SNL veteran sibling Angie Freeman, and relocated to Los Angeles, CA. Together they have focused on the creative aspect of the film industry, writing a feature length screenplay The Coming Fall, and short Aberration. Aberration they co-wrote together, Ms. Freeman producing, and Mr. Freeman Directing.
