Hugo Barbosa Writer - Creative Producer. Born in Mexico City on a wednesday morning May 1, 1975 he was born under the sign of Taurus. Creative free spirit that grew up to love arts and films, spent his early years in Mexico City then moved to various places time in which he developed a serious passion for films, same that made him learn the screenwriting crafts. While a teenager, this passion developed even further as he got to do stuff with a beta video camera and did experimental videos and also edited a video documentary that was used to support a small community in Mexico. While studying biology at the Universidad Autònoma del Estado de Morelos (Mèxico), he understood his love for arts and he spent time learning music basics in a guitar and then went to study photography professionally. He then moved on to Mexico City and spent time working freelance and attending to a Linguistics studies career while he also went into filmmaking classes. He won a scholarship for screenwriting studies as a prize in the CIGCITE’s “Historias de mi ciudad” contest. He has worked in various media, published inside Cinemania movie magazine and has also worked in films, video and TV as PA, AD and script, and collaborated as a screenwriter in various media. In his spare time he writes short stories, screenplays and develops a fiction novel and a book on Creative Producing.
