SYNOPSIS:
A girl who half-heartedly tries to be part of the "in crowd" of her school meets a rebel who teaches her a more devious way to play social politics.
The shrill cry of the bell snapped me out of my daze. The thunder of doors being thrown open filled my ears, and a moment later, I was lost in a sea of faces. My feet stumbled across the tiled floor, trying to make headway, but I’m pushed back, shoved. And I nearly slip to the floor, and they would have continued to walk all over me. But I fought to stand, but the war was far from over. And another day of high school began.
In war, you have to choose a side, but still nobody wins. The popular squad descends like vultures upon those they see as weak, losers, ripping them apart. The ignored try to be recognized, and they sometimes fail miserably. And if you choose a side, you still don’t win. Knives are ready to slice into your back, rumors wait to run wild, and if you cut the head off one monster, another will grow right back. And only a dark horse may change the tide of war or end it completely.
I’m tired of pretending. I’m tired of being something that I’m not, but who am I? Have I gone too far, riding wild on this
dark horse? Can I be redeemed, or is the damage done? Would I have to sacrifice myself to make things right, but would the war still go on? I’m trapped. I’m stuck between the popular people and the ones they crush, but no longer do I want to play the rebel without a cause.
She was one step closer to popularity, but Veronica could not complete the initiation. And her failure spewed out across the party’s floor, sending her back to square one, and there would be no going forward. And the vultures would wait to descend, but she would be the first to make a move.
Running into the arms of her dark knight in shining armor, Jason Dean, she plots her revenge, but JD has other plans in mind. And a simple plan takes a very wrong turn, leading to the death of the most popular girl at school, but the scent of murder quickly disappears under the illusion of suicide. And as the school mourns their loss, a chapter of revenge, murder, and betrayal begins.
The noose tightens around her neck, and she dangles helplessly in suspense. And she waits for death to take her, but he is too late. And as he slips away through her window, her head snaps up, and a second chance falls down around her. There is still time to clean the slate, but first, JD has to be stopped. But was she strong enough to stop him and to save the lives of everyone at school?
The corridors of high school have echoed with a thousand voices, stories brought to life, and nothing has changed. The cliques still divide the sea of faces struggling to discover themselves, and vultures wait to descend upon those that they deem weak, losers. And the war goes on, and sides have to be chosen. But what if someone decides to turn the tables against society, wipe the slate clean? Would we be able to stop them, or would we stand aside? And in this riveting dark tale of drama do we fall into the turmoil of a teenager’s life as she struggles to survive the aftermath of one fatal mistake. Heathers is a true classic motion picture that joins the ranks of movies such as Mean Girls, The Breakfast Club, Never Been Kissed, and Ten Things I Hate About You.
