Heather Allin Bio



Heather Allin is currently rehearsing the character Ella in the new play Rendering for the New Ideas Festival, 2007. She is a supporting lead in the Canadian feature film Abracadabra, soon to be released; she played Mrs. Feeney, mother to a boy charge with gang raping a teenage girl in the MOW Stone Cold (Sony Pictures TV/CBS), she appeared in the TV series Kevin Hill., played a pastor’s wife in Suburban Madness (Columbia / Tri-Star / Sony TV), a local reporter in the feature film Welcome to Mooseport (20th Century Fox), one of the customers in Wonderfalls (20th Century Fox TV), and in Hollywoodland. She has been in Witchblade (Blade TV 2 Productions L.P.), What Girls Learn (Sullivan Entertainment), A Tale of Two Bunnies (Pebblehut Productions), Real Kids Real Adventures, (Fireworks Productions); and a Canadian short called Providence, where she created the role of the psychic homeless seer, Anna.

Her recent on stage productions include Queen Elizabeth and Clarence for the all female version of Richard III, Amelia in Comedy of Errors, (Shakespeare in the Square), Lucy in the quirky comedy Lying on the Escarpment, a solo performance for the New Ideas Festival 2005, Kitty Clarke in The Luminous Veil, Fringe 2005 Aggie in Boiler Room Suite, Lady Capulet in Romeo & Juliet, and Lady Anne, Lady Macbeth, Kate, Rosalind and Puck in a production of Shakespearian Scenes. Ms Allin had a leading role, playing Vanessa in The Power Of The Dream, (Canadian Stage workshop), performed in The Odd Couple, and Tobacco Road (Annex). She was the lead in the Canadian Premiere of The Quiet Room (The Theatre Centre).
