GLEN McDONALD

Glen McDonald is thrilled to be screening Loving the Inlaws at the WILDsound film festival in November. The film was produced in 2003 and toured the festival circuit in 2004-2005. In September of this year he decided to begin writing a feature film entitled On A Sudbury Saturday Night, using the characters from Inlaws.

Since 2004 Glen has been busy developing other projects, including his first feature film, a low budget comedy entitled Dawgs Playing Poker, which was just completed in September 2007. He has co-written another comedy feature with his writing partner, Daveed Louza, entitled Smoked Meat. They are in the process of writing their second feature together, Angels, a psychological thriller. In the spring of 2008, Glen will act in the short film, A Short Recess, opposite David Tompa and to be directed by Michael Wheeler. Originally a one-act play, David and Glen performed the play at the 2007 Toronto Fringe and received a five star review in EYE magazine.

Other acting credits include: Eugene in Broadway Bound, The Husband in Laronde, The Tin Man in The Wizard of Oz and the title role in Pericles. He has worked with Diane Keaton in the film, Sister Mary Explains it All, R. H. Thompson in the short film In Memory, directed by David Weaver, and recently played a guest appearance on the TV show Missing.

Glen plans to travel to the Caribbean to practice his melanoma.
