The hour was late. Doors and windows were locked. Nobody was awake, and the streets outside were quiet. And it was time for sleep, but the darkness was waiting. And under its cloak were the monsters ready to be unleashed.

Our darkest fears are the shadows clinging to the walls, but still we think we are safe. But do we really know what lies in wait? Do we really know who lives next door?

We never really know who lives across the street from us. We go about our daily lives and hardly give them a glance, if not a brief hello.
