Francisco Chacin Bio
Francisco Chacin is a Venezuelan actor who discovered his passion since he was very young. Starting in school productions when he was 7 years old, begged his parents to let him pursue acting. At age 10 he was a finalist in a national talent search that led him to discover a passion for performing. While completing school, he studied his craft, acted in several projects and participated in numerous theater festivals in Venezuela. He was highly regarded for his versatility and commitment to his craft. At age 20 he decided to move to Canada to branch out into other aspects of the entertainment industry. Acting however still remains very close to his heart, a yearning that has pushed him to participate in select projects over the past three years. Both short films he participated in were shown in the ALUCINE Film and Video festivals over the last two years. Currently he is engaged in select projects while completing his university degrees (March ’07), after which he will go back into acting full time.
