REVIEW:
Escape didn’t seem possible as they dogged our every step, but then we thought we made it. We could start over. We could expose them for what they did, and it would be too late to locate us. But as the tranquilizer struck me, I realized that I was wrong, and our lives fall into blackness. What would they do with us now?
She was only a child, but that would not stop him. This was her life, and I never wanted this for her. But all he sees is power, a deadly weapon to mold and then to break, and I have to stop him. But would my sacrifice save her life, and would she finally be free from those that have hunted us for so long?
Their desire to control her led death to our door, but we were the ones that fueled this fire. We participated in the experiment, and our hearts became one. And then I lost her to them, and now they want our child. But with my last breath, I would fight to save her, push them as far as I could go, and hope that in the end, this nightmare would finally be over. But the stakes are too high, and I may not be strong enough to save her. But is she stronger than me, controlling the fury that rages inside her?
