Nicolas Cage once again failed to perform at the box office as his new film Next place 3rd. The Invisible debuted at $7.2 million and finished 2nd as Fracture, the Anthony Hopkins/Ryan Gosling court room drama place 4th.

Up next weekend: The summer of the sequels officially kicks off as Spider-Man 3 swings into theaters. Anyone want to bet that Distrubia is going to lose the top spot?
